Responsibilities:

At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

Engages in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.

Records required team member and problem information in the designated trouble ticket system.

Updates tickets with proper journal entries of activities and closes tickets with resolution and hours worked upon completion of the job.

Provide documentation as appropriate (e.g., ticket creation and maintenance, e-mails, process improvements, knowledge base articles, monthly reports).

Collaborates complex and/or high priority problems with the appropriate support teams for resolution.

Engages vendor support technicians when needed.

Install/replace workstations, phones, mobile devices, hard drives, memory, peripheral items (monitors, keyboards, mice, scanners, and others), etc.

Delivers and performs system set-up of new & repaired workstations along with installation of additional hardware, software, and peripherals.

Perform computer imaging including software & hardware validation and pre-delivery testing.

Receives assets, transports equipment using a company vehicle between multiple facilities, stages equipment for build/image activity, executes equipment replacement activity, updates asset management system, and prepares assets for disposition.

Monitors and tracks workstation performance leveraging desktop tools and suggests ways to improve the user experience.

Run diagnostic and Anti-Virus scans on workstations and resolves any issues.

Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements.

Follows all company and department policies and procedures, including and not limited to; Asset Management, Change Control, Security, Data Protection, etc.

Assist other technicians and analysts as needed. This position requires independent work, sharing information and assisting others with work orders.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Preferred but not required to have a post-secondary degree in computer science/computer information systems, related field, or a combination of related experience and education. Minimum 2-4 years of experience. Required to have Microsoft Certified Solutions certificate or equivalent industry certification. Ability to work with and communicate with all Credit Union personnel in the various departments. Ability to always maintain confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.

You must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
