Job Duties and Responsibilities:

DISH is seeking a Manufacturing Manager for its Spartanburg, SC facility. This full time, benefits-eligible role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a dedicated project with an expected duration of 12 months. While the position is fixed-term, you'll gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact throughout the project's timeline. There is potential for further opportunities within the organization upon project completion, though continued employment is not guaranteed.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple supervisors and be fully responsible for the processing and auditing of shift efficiencies at the expected level of productivity and quality identified for one or more areas within the department

Resolve escalated process issues with supervisors, process changes, and reporting to higher-level management as needed

Responsible for managing and directing the day to day operations of a manufacturing shift

Develop standard work procedures, prepares work schedules, and optimizes workflow

Develop and manage quality assurance program(s) designed to ensure continuous process improvement

Assign and oversee projects dedicated to auditing and assesses processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness

Skills, Experience and Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience

A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in operations management in a medium-to-high volume manufacturing/warehouse environment

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous leadership experience with organizations having 200+ employees highly desired

Ability to effectively respond to and interact at all levels within the organization as well as external customers and vendors

Competencies include excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills

Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment

Proven ability to develop team members professionally and instill a high-quality culture

Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Conflict resolution

Strong computer literacy required, Google suite proficiency is a plus
