Seeking: LPN Charge Nurse - Outpatient Addiction Recovery
Full Time Hours:
Monday - Friday from 5:30 am - 1:00 pm OR rotating weekends with weekdays off.
Saturdays 5:30 am - 8:30 pm, Sundays 5:30 am - 12:30 pm

Your Job as a Charge Nurse LPN:
The Charge Nurse is responsible for directing care to patients, facilitating workflows, serving as a clinical resource for staff, and for providing team leadership on a shift-to-shift basis. The Charge Nurse maintains standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with clinic policy and procedures.

Your Responsibilities as a Charge Nurse LPN:
Provides direct care for patients as well as monitors and coordinates other nurses and members of the staff on the daily medical or behavioral health care activities of the clinic; schedules staff to ensure full coverage at all times and to ensure effective application of services;
Leads, guides, and trains employees performing work;
Oversees and provides direct nursing evaluation, consultation and other related care to patients as required;
Coordinates services and maintains communication with other departments or staff as required;
Completes and maintains required documentation;
Oversees quality assurance activities and compliance to operational standards, participates in program development, development or implementation of operating policy and procedure, and promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices, as requested; and,
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Your Education, Skills and Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in nursing practice; minimum 1 year supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
Prefer experience in behavioral health or addiction recovery field environment (inpatient or outpatient)
Training or experience treating patients with MAT (medication assisted treatment) highly preferred
There must be no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
Licenses/Certifications:
Current LPN license within the state of Massachusetts
