Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Large Assembly Operator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assembly/packing of sheet metal components of medium and large sized parts, fitting and/or adjustment of inter-related parts and/or assembly based on written specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Follows all safety processes and procedures in accordance with job and Company requirements.

Following specific written instructions and/or blueprints, assembles components into finished product.

Disassembles and re-builds products per specifications.

Conducts quality checks following quality process instructions.

Pack and labels product following packaging instructions.

Ensures that the work area is clean, orderly, and safe.

Work in packaging as needed, including packing large assemblies or parts.

Inspect parts for defects or damage prior to packing.

Make boxes, apply labels, verify counts, and follow packing instructions.

Follow directions on packing from Packaging Lead.

Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Experience

1-2 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional mechanical training and/or blueprint reading a plus. Ability to use hand tools such as screw drivers, sockets, Allen wrench, air drivers, tape dispenser and material handling equipment such as tow motor. Ability to read and understand blueprints, quality and packing instructions.

Hours:

Full Time - 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday
