A supportive and vibrant Primary school located in the heart of Hackney are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable candidate to provide high quality support to students on an individual basis and small groups. The suitable candidate does not require experience working in a school but does require experience working with Special Educational Needs in some capacity.
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working hours: 8:30am until 4pm
Pay: £90-£110 per day
What the role will involve:
Supporting students with needs such as Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Down's Syndrome and MLD
Working closely with the class teacher and schools SENco to ensure the best support is provided
Completing observations and documenting them
Liaising with external agencies such as occupational therapists and speech and language therapists
What you need to apply for the SEND Support position:
Experience working with Special Educational Needs
Knowledge of Special Educational Needs
An up-to-date DBS, registered with the update service or happy to apply for a DBS
