My client, a leader in the design and manufacture of microwave and millimetre wave electronics for telecommunications, satellite communications, and defense, is seeking a Trainee Stores Operator. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the operations of a fast-paced stores environment. All necessary training will be provided, making this an ideal role for an enthusiastic individual looking to start or develop their career in logistics and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive all deliveries and verify goods received.
Communicate with the Purchasing team regarding deliveries and stock discrepancies.
Maintain detailed records of shortages and requisition processes.
Regularly update inventory management systems, ensuring full lot traceability.
Pick goods in line with shop floor requirements.
Organize collection and dispatch of goods using third-party software.
Ensure all goods are stored in appropriate environmental conditions. Skills & Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Positive attitude and team player.
Minimum 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to gain experience in stores operations within a leading technology company
