About the Role:
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work on an ad-hoc basis, providing support in primary, secondary, and SEN schools across St Albans. This role offers you the flexibility to choose which days you work. You will support the classroom in various capacities, whether assisting the entire class or working one-on-one with individual students, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to teachers and students
Work across different settings, including primary, secondary, and SEN schools
Assist in supporting individual students with special needs or within a full class setting
Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students
Requirements:
Experience working with young people (essential)
Classroom experience (preferred)
SEN experience (advantageous, either personal or professional)
Flexibility to work across different schools and age groups
DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
