Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at our client’s surgery in Deal, Kent. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.

* Ensure all areas of the surgery, including waiting rooms, consultation rooms, and restrooms, are cleaned to a high standard.

* Dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to health and safety guidelines.

* Replenish supplies, such as soap, hand sanitiser, and paper products, as necessary.

* Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the supervisor.

* Follow all infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable.

2. Enhanced DBS check (required).

3. Hepatitis B vaccination (required).

4. Ability to work independently and efficiently.

5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

6. Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
