We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Catering & Housekeeping Manager within a residential setting.
You will be required to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient catering, cleaning and laundry provision.
General Duties:
To manage the operational day to day functions of the Catering & Housekeeping Support Staff.
To plan, organise and manage menus and food production making.
To be hands-on in the kitchen 2-days per week.
To oversee the housekeeping and laundry services. Ensuring that a comprehensive cleaning service is provided and that all health and safety protocols are in place and adhered to.
Produce staff rotas.
Manage and maintain stock levels.
Monitor the catering provision
Implement food cost reductions and service improvements
Maintain accurate records
Carry out inspectionsPerson specification:
Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate
A relevant qualification in catering
Knowledge of HACCP for catering
Strong Leadership with experience of line managing staff
Experience of catering for large numbers
Experience of monitoring catering, cleaning and laundry budgets
Experience of maintaining accurate records
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
Proven ability to manage stock levels and ensure stock control
Previous experience working in a residential environment would be desirable.The role offers 37 hours per week working (Apply online only) Monday to Friday.
