As the Communication and Engagement Manager for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Derbyshire you will:

* Manage and supervise other team members.

* Organise and attend public engagement events.

* Co-ordinate and implement the Communications and Engagement Plan.

* Design and develop our media content.

If you have experience in managing an organisation’s communications and engagement function, can communicate important messages to a broad range of people and have experience of evaluating the reach and impact of media content you have written, this is the role for you.

The Commissioner is elected as the ‘voice of the people’ which aims to improve community engagement and deliver a more effective policing service. As Communications and Engagement Manager, you will be at the very heart of the incredible work that the OPCC does to bring communities and the police closer together.
