Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: South Kirkby, Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000-£47,000 p/a
Shift: Days - M-F
About Our Client:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in South Kirkby. The role involves working in an industrial environment, which is kept clean to the best possible standards. You will be responsible for maintenance tasks from the CMMS system, following PPM schedules, and maintaining equipment such as drums, rollers, and conveyors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance tasks from the CMMS system, focusing on PPM schedules.
Maintain and service processing equipment like drums, rollers, and conveyors.
Conduct inspections and prepare plants and chutes for regular shutdowns.
Patch up worn equipment due to the abrasive nature of the materials, including welding and other repair techniques.
Participate in a 60/40 planned/reactive maintenance split.
Heavy lifting of parts and components as required.
Maintain site cleanliness and hygiene.
Be available for call-outs to other sites with fuel expenses covered by a fuel card.Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Mechanical discipline or equivalent.
Apprentice trained candidates are welcome.
Experience in an industrial, heavy metal, or dirty environment; waste industry experience is ideal.
Skills in welding and equipment patching are highly desirable.
