We are working with a vibrant SEND school that is searching for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support their pupils with a range of additional needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an inspiring environment, supporting students' educational and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for pupils.
Provide one-to-one and group support to students, ensuring their specific needs are met both inside and outside the classroom.
Collaborate with the teaching staff to deliver tailored lessons and learning activities.
Use a range of communication strategies to support children with varying needs, including those with autism, speech and language difficulties, and physical disabilities.
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Offer emotional and behavioural support to pupils, fostering their confidence and independence.Requirements:

Prior experience working with children or young people with SEND in an educational setting is essential.
Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced school environment and think on your feet.
Understanding of different SEND conditions and how they affect learning and development.
