Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Solution Architect for an initial 6 months project with our global client.

About the Role:

The solution architect will be supporting PM's in defining the optimal target landscape for a large number of applications which will be migrated from the old system to the new one. All application need to adhere to the company standards regarding security and architecture.

The solution architect will support/lead the technical meetings with suppliers and IT to make sure applications details are captured and the right target infrastructure is chosen.

Responsibilities:

• Making sure applications will be migrated adhering to the company standards regarding security and architecture.
• Support the PM's in discussions with 3rd parties and internal IT, to come to the optimal solution considering the project deadlines.
• Facilitate technical design meetings with suppliers.
• Document the as/to be architecture per application.

Candidate Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of enterprise application landscapes, interfacing, networking, cloud technology (Azure, AWS, Private cloud)
• Hands-on mentality.
• Be flexible in eg managing the scope within the team or work more hours during the implementation phase.
• Preferably knowledge of the manufacturing domain and/or experience with carve outs
• Ability to travel to Geleen 1 or 2 days/week

Contract Details:

• Start: as soon as possible
• Duration: 6 months initial contract with option to extend.
• Hybrid: Ability to travel to Geleen at least once or two
• Languages: English
• Workload: 40 hours p.week
• Contract: Project/Freelance
• Rate: will vary based on the experience.
