Are you passionate about digital infrastructure and cybersecurity in the healthcare sector?

We are looking for a skilled Digital Infrastructure Network Specialist to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role involves implementing, supporting, and maintaining our secure WAN and LAN network infrastructure, including VoIP telecoms.

• Provide specialist technical expertise in network and network security infrastructure.
• Support and manage Extreme, Cisco, and Mitel VoIP technologies.
• Ensure highly available WAN and LAN connectivity for critical services.
• Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to implement best practice Cyber Security controls.
• Administer configuration of VoIP technologies to ensure continuous service.
• Automate routine tasks through Scripting and maintain documentation.
• Implement effective monitoring systems for network components.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network systems and services.
• Establish and review departmental policies and processes in line with ITIL best practices.
• Ensure compliance with NHS and legislative standards for security controls.
• Analyze security bulletins and enhance cyber security measures.

• Experience:
  • Extensive experience in network infrastructure and security, ideally at Band 6 equivalent.
  • Proficient in managing complex networks including LAN, WAN, HSCN, and more.
  • Familiarity with routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and clinical systems protocols (DICOM, HL7).
  • Experience in the NHS network and security environments.

• Certifications: Cisco CCNA and ITIL qualifications are essential.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
