MOT Tester / Technician – Derby
Location: Derby
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 OTE
Working Hours: 5 days a week - No Sundays

Perform MOT tests and provide high-quality vehicle inspections
Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools
Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs on a variety of vehicles
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Assist with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs
Collaborate with team members on complex automotive issuesRequirements:

MOT Testing Licence: Current and valid
Qualifications: Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance / Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair / City & Guilds Automotive
Experience: Proven experience working within a car dealership, independent garage, car supermarket, or service centre
MOT Tester Course: Completed your MOT tester course Class 4, 5, or 7
Skills: Experience working on vehicles, cars, and light commercials (LC)
Training: Ideally Hybrid / EV trained (training will be provided if not)
License: Must have a full driver’s licence with less than 9 points
