Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Process Safety Engineer to their team on a permanent basis.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8am - 12pm
Salary: £55K - £60K
Daily Duties -
Assist in the development and maintenance of vessel safety cases, support safety assessment studies, and bow-tie diagrams for major accident hazards associated with vessel operations
Assist Technical Authorities to identify safety and environmentally critical elements (SECE's) and develop associated performance standards and assurance activities
Review operational risk assessments for temporarily degraded plant, process and people barriers
Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments, supporting the management of change process
Assist with developing emergency response plans and process safety training material for offshore personnel
Support inspections carried out by the Competent Authority (OMAR/OPRED) and follow up on findings
Liaise with clients to resolve process safety issues identified during rig acceptance process and in operationCandidate Requirements -
Experience with offshore safety legislation and associated industry standards
Bachelor or Engineering Degree or equivalent years of experience
