Prospero Teaching are working with an excellent mixed Secondary School based in Woking.
The School are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible, on a full time basis. Hours are 8.30 am to 3.00 pm. ( Negotiable for the right candidate )
This is a highly rewarding role. The School are looking for individuals that are supportive, non-judgemental, patient, easy to talk to, positive and flexible. You must be able to speak to pupils in a manner which encourages and supports them, enabling you to build trusting relationships.
You will be supporting pupils across the age and ability ranges, predominantly on a 1:1 basis.
Previous experience of working with young people is desirable, but not essential. A team player with patience, understanding and a willingness to develop is required.
This role is ideal for graduates and aspiring teachers, looking to gain more experience prior to applying for teacher training. If you also have a background in youth work, counselling, and suppirt work, we would love to hear from you.

· Location – Woking
· Position – Learning Support Assistant
· Start date – October 1st 2024
· Contract type – Temporary to Permanent
· Full time/part time – Monday to Friday
· Minimum rate of pay – Negotiable at interview ( Minimum £11.00 per hour)
To be eligible the Learning Support Assistant must have:
· C grade or higher in English and Maths at GCSE
· Calm and nurturing approach
· Personable
· Reliable and hard working.
