Location: Sherwood, NG5
Salary: £24,000 - £25,000

The Role:
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people in a safe, supportive, and homely environment. You will play a key role in their emotional, social, and physical development while helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and support to children and young people.
Promote positive relationships and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
Work closely with the team to develop individualised care plans.
Assist with educational, social, and recreational activities.
Encourage personal development, independence, and life skills.
Support children with emotional and behavioural challenges in line with care plans.
Ensure safeguarding and well-being standards are maintained at all times.
Work within legislative requirements, policies, and procedures.What We're Looking For:

Compassionate, patient, and resilient individuals.
Experience in a similar role or working with children and young people (desirable but not essential).
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Full UK driving license (desirable).
NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or willingness to work towards it.What We Offer:
