I am seeking a dynamic HSQE Manager to join an established business based in Radstock.
This engineering/manufacturing company produces high end bespoke products professionally assisting small to corporate sized organisations. They are a well-established business within their sector.
Your role will involve managing a team of 4 and ensure the compliance of the company’s processes are in co-ordination with the Group HSQE Manager. This position is crucial in safeguarding the wellbeing of employees and the sustainability of the company’s operations.
The suitable candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, maintaining and managing the Health Safety Quality and Environmental management system for the organisation including all relevant ISO (9001, 14001, 45001) and industry standards legislation.
You will undertake and report audits to enable the continual improvements within the business. You are expected to prepare annual Internal Audit plans for ISO 9001 and 14001 that reflect compliance with standard and all relevant aspects of the registered part of the business. Along this, you will take the lead with all audits listed on the Internal audit plans and prepare non-conformity reports where applicable.
You will identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them. This includes conducting risk assessments, job safety analysis and environmental impact assessments. Investigations will be explored with incidents and cases that may occur of ill health from work activities, and reporting detections to the Managing Director.
This is a sizeable variety of important tasks and responsibilities completely surrounding the quality control, health and safety management and environmental stewardship.
