Ampsight is seeking experienced Cyber Security Engineers to build and mature security programs, lead cross-functional teams, and develop and implement innovative solutions for complex business, technology, and security challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate Diverse Data Streams: Establish data standards and act as the subject matter expert of IT and service delivery data sets.
Analyze Complex Networks: Evaluate networks and systems from a security standpoint.
Log and Packet Data Analysis: Analyze log data from various network components and operating systems, and packet capture data.
Network and Systems Engineering: Utilize a background in systems engineering with network analysis/engineering.
Cloud Migration: Lead physical data center to cloud migration projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
Endpoint Security: Upgrade outdated security solutions with modern endpoint security suites to reduce false positives and identify unknown threats.
Vulnerability Management: Implement vulnerability management programs to eliminate high and critical vulnerabilities on public-facing assets.
Data Feeds Management: Establish data standards and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
Ideally, we are looking for 5 years of experience with the following:
Security Development and Operations (DevSecOps)
Expertise with Splunk
Proficiency in Scripting Tools: Python, Shell Script, or Ansible
Cloud Security Controls and Implementation
PKI Implementation
STIG Compliance and Vulnerability Management
Virtualization Experience: VDI & VMware
Cloud Experience: Public, private, and hybrid (AWS, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
Top Secret Security Clearance preferred
Preferred Certifications:
CISSP
AWS Certified Security Specialty
CCSP
CISM
