EWA, a Sigma Defense company, is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team in Herndon, VA. This critical role involves the comprehensive administration and management of a multimillion-dollar Navy IDIQ contract. The successful candidate will oversee various contractual agreements and negotiations, ensuring compliance with federal regulations. This position is essential for supporting our mission to deliver advanced radar systems and related products to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other U.S. Government agencies.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills. They are adept at multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate must excel in contract management and negotiation, with a proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. They must also be dedicated to meeting deadlines and achieving high-quality results, while effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

At minimum 6 years of experience in government contracting administration.

Proficiency in FAR and DFARS provisions.

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and preferably Jamis Prime.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or relevant field of study.

Personnel Clearance Level:

Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance.

A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

Administer and manage Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Task Orders.

Handle the administration of other agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Proprietary Information Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Subcontracts/Purchase Orders, and Subcontract/Purchase Order Consent Packages.

Negotiate complex Statements of Work (SOW), pricing, and contractual provisions.

Conduct proposal preparation, including pricing narratives for government Requests for Proposals (RFPs), under limited supervision.

Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions.

Exercise independent judgment within defined procedures to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

Communicate effectively and demonstrate excellent writing skills.  

Travel as necessary to meet customer needs and maintain strong client relationships.   

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 annually.
