Overview:
Job Summary:
The Delivery Manager (DM) of Data Services is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating teams to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering exceptional business value to users. The DM is accountable for the delivery of all products and services for Data Services consistent with plan or defined service levels.
The DM will be responsible for our Enterprise Data infrastructure, including all cloud operations on the Data Cloud Platform, data tools, reporting tools, and on-prem databases. Core activities include managing a large production environment, migrating to the cloud and cloud technologies, performing deployments, coordinating and performing upgrades for legacy on-prem technologies, continual improvement of quality of service, and maturation of monitoring and alerting capabilities.
The DM will also be responsible for supporting key Enterprise Initiatives of our Data Cloud Platform. The DM will support the BI environments of TEK, Aerotek, EMEA, AGS, and MarketSource along with our Data Lake and Data Warehouse in the cloud.
The DM will work closely with our TGS partner to fulfill these responsibilities.
Required in-office presence at least 4 days per week
Responsibilities:

Provides thought leadership and direction to all aspects of products and services, and partners with Product Owners, Architecture, IS Application Teams, Operating Company BI Teams, Innovation Lab, Global Privacy Office, and Information Security Group to ensure data management roadmaps align with business strategy
Establishes direction and clear sense of purpose to inspire teams in creating their own connection and passion to the business goals, orients others around a shared vision for Data Services
Manages concurrent, high visibility products/projects/services using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that will cross teams and business divisions to drive a large-scale digital transformation for Allegis
Maintains overarching responsibility for executing best practices approaches and methodologies (ex: Agile/Scrum, SAFe, etc.) for the support and sustainability of solutions
Partners closely with the Product team to develops/maintains methods to measure value; obtains feedback to ensure that efforts are meeting expectations for value, time, cost and quality
Identifies risks, mitigation plans, operational readiness criteria, change management, deployment success factors, and drives deliverables for production launches
Supervisory or Management Responsibility:Management responsibility for the team, including hiring, leadership, development and accountability for performance.
Plans and develops people organization including but not limited to: coaching and mentoring, succession planning, proactive identification of resource gaps, etc. for a team of onshore and offshore resources.
Drives team to improve sprint velocity and speed to market.
Budget Responsibility:
Develops and manages budget
Produce monthly forecasts.
Approves operational expenditures.
Manage Cloud SaaS monthly utilization
Determines variance of actual to forecast and take the appropriate action to correct variance.
Shares fiscal responsibility for the organization's technology investments and future planning of the organization's spend, to avoid unnecessary and duplicative services and to maximize ROI.
Establishes clear cost-of-service model and drives business cases for taking cost out of transactional processes through automation.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or equivalent; advanced degree desirable
Minimum of 10 years of Information Technology experience required with a focus on Data Warehousing.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
Experience training and mentoring others
Recent experience managing Data Analytics environments both on-prem and in the cloud.
Experience with AWS, Azure and GCP Platforms
Experience with Snowflake and Oracle Exadata
Experience in managing on-shore and off-shore teams
Experience in migrating data from on-prem to the cloud
Skills and Experience:Superior at building relationships, collaboration and teamwork across the local and global organizations
Energizes others towards a global mindset
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
