Position Summary:

The purpose of the Assistant Director of Nursing:

To assist with the planning, directing, supervision, and evaluation of nursing service activities in order to maintain quality nursing care.

To assist with the orientation of new associates and to provide in-service education and training to the associates of the Nursing Department.

To assist with planning and coordination of educational programs offered to the community.

Required skills and qualifications:

3 years of clinical nursing experience

Knowledge of Medicare PPS

Licensed Registered Nurse

Long Term Care experience 2 years required

Must be certified in CPR
