Responsibilities:

SUMMARY

Responsible for retention of current commercial book of business as well as assisting the commercial insurance account manager with renewal, rewrites, re-marketing and any other duties assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  Hold a 4-40 license (a 220 license must be obtained within 90 days of employment).

  At least two years of experience in quoting, writing, and managing personal or commercial lines policies.

  Experience with commercial lines markets, including products, coverages, underwriting guidelines, as well as commercial property insurance, general liability insurance, professional liability insurance, and workers' compensation insurance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Manage the retention of the existing commercial book of business.

  Gather updated information from current clients 60 days before policy renewal.

  Prepare certificates of insurance and invoices.

  Collect payments from clients.

  Process insurance claims efficiently.

  Complete ACORD forms as required.

  Respond promptly to requests from clients and underwriters.

  Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.

  Maintain and update AMS360 daily.



Qualifications:

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  Proficient in explaining complex insurance concepts to clients.

  Strong problem-solving abilities.

  Skilled at multitasking and managing multiple priorities.

  Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

MOST IMPORTANT

Min:

USD $22.60/Hr.

Max:

USD $33.93/Hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
