Quincy Medical Group (QMG) is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with over 155 physicians and providers, serving West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. For more than 85 years, QMG has led the way in healthcare innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a critical role in patient safety by ensuring that all surgical instruments, trays, packs, and patient care equipment are properly collected, cleaned, sterilized, and maintained according to established standards and procedures. Your work will directly impact patient care by preventing infection and ensuring surgical teams have the tools they need for success.

This is an hourly, non-exempt position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., based in Quincy, IL.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required. CPR certification is also required, but can be obtained upon hire. Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician must be achieved within two years of employment. While one year of experience in a healthcare or sterile processing setting is preferred, it is not mandatory.
