Sodexo has a new and exciting opportunity to join the team as a General Manager managing food operations at a small hospital located in The Medical Center of Houston, TX.
The General Manager will be responsible for managing patient dining prioritizing patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will understand kitchen operations, have a keen eye for detail for menu execution and dietary restrictions, and be knowledgeable of HACCP policies and procedures.
We are looking for candidates who:
have oversight of day-to-day operations;
successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline staff;
achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
ensure Sodexo standards are met.
The ideal candidate:
has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
has culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;
has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
