At our clinic, we primarily focus on musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, catering to a diverse patient population. Our caseload includes both non-surgical and post-operative cases, spanning across sport-specific rehabilitation, joint and spine management.

License & Experience:

We are currently searching for a Patient Accounts Representative. This position requires superb customer service skills as well as the ability to multitask. Ideal candidates will enjoy working as part of a team environment, have a love of working with people, and have good organizational and communication skills. Some experience with medical administration is preferred. 

The position is in person but there is some flexibility on clinic work location. 

Responsibilities: 

Managing a high volume of phone calls continuously during a given shift while maintaining a superior level of attention to detail

Researching and responding to billing questions and inquiries 

Negotiating payments on patient account balances

Communicating hospital financial policies to patients

Providing high quality customer service

Understanding of insurance, billing, and and able to explain details clearly to patients. 

Engaging with patients and team members in a professional manner while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

High school diploma or GED equivalent

One year office experience or twelve months secondary education which includes clerical training.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a call center environment, retains thorough understanding of insurance, registration, authorizations, and follow-up to secure reimbursement of claims

Working with Medicare, Medicaid, and other commercial payers: 1 year (Required)

Healthcare, Registration, Collections, billing or insurance: 1 year (Required)

Must possess strong customer service skills (phone and in person)

Ability to work under deadlines and maintain critical thinking skills

Possess strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and good judgment

Proficient in typing

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, and Outlook Applications

Highly organized and schedule driven

Flexible with daily tasks
