Overview:

Burlington is hiring a Senior Merchandise Project Manager to provide merchandising support for the Territory, Regional and District teams. You will be responsible for coaching, training, and directing the execution of merchandising guidelines. In this role, there will be heavy involvement in the rollout of Store Experience 2.0, to transition the entire fleet to the prototype. The Sr MPM will ensure that all corporate sponsored initiatives including new stores, downsizes, remodels and capital projects are completed quickly and effectively, leveraging district and field teams. Developing communication methods and tools to enhance the applications of new directives is critical. This role has a significant impact on sales, service, and workload for the enterprise.

Candidates should be located in either Dallas or Houston, Texas. Must have flexibility to travel 80% of the time

A Day in the Life:

Leadership Territory Support

Strategic partnerships with territory, regional and districts teams

Lead territory in the execution of SE 2.0. Use expertise to elevate project results.

Teach and train merchandise directives and guidelines

Support field teams on new store process and execution

Guide efficiencies and best practices to maximize sales and customer experience

Act as liaison between fixtures and graphics

Visit stores to support all merchandising opportunities

Teach min/max and expand/contract throughout the territory

Communication with Corporate & Field Partners

Participate on territory conference calls to focus teams on effectively communicating current directives

Partner with DM to communicate store floor plans, providing guidance and support on execution in stores

Align with Sr CML to provide insight and add clarity from a store/field perspective

Support all new AP directives that apply to merchandise and communicate any issues, opportunities or concerns

You’ll Come With:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience with project management and strong merchandising skills

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business or Liberal Art or commensurate field experience

Strong leadership qualities

Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and store personnel

Flexible with changing deadlines and ability to multitask

Strategic and organized approach to meeting project deadlines
