Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Northpoint Village of Utica is looking for an experienced Business Office Manager. The office manager will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the day-to-day operations are conducted efficiently and appropriately. The Office Manager will work closely with the residents and family members to ensure the needs of the community are being met. Someone that is able to multi-task, will be the best candidate for this position. The ideal person will be able to communicate with all levels of staff and help with problem-solving. Supports Managing Director.
Oversees the financial aspects of the business, such as billing, banking, and accounting.
Caring for the residents, helping with the activities of daily living; toileting, bathing, transfers, and grooming.
Contact contractors and vendors for their services, such as billing agencies and accounting services.
Responsible for all aspects of hiring requirements, personnel files, and collections of past due accounts.
Supervises the selection and ordering of supplies.
Makes sure that educational pamphlets and brochures of services are readily available for residents.
Oversees the development and implementation of marketing practices while maintaining an appropriate office environment.
Other duties as required.
Requirements
Experience caring for seniors is a must.
Managing staff, including hiring and dismissal.
HR experience.
YARDI experience preferred.
Accounts receivable and payable.
Able to work all shifts, covering openings in schedule and call-offs.
