Job Title: Data Centre Shift Engineer
Location: South West of London
Salary: £47,500 (increased to £49,500 upon successful completion of probation)
Are you an experienced M&E Engineer looking to advance your career in a critical environment? We are currently recruiting for a Data Centre Shift Engineer to join a leading Data Centre service provider on their contract, just South West of London.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems within the Data Centre.
Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
Work as part of a shift team to provide 24/7 support in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Adhere to strict health and safety standards and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver exceptional service to our clients.Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience as an M&E Engineer, preferably within a Data Centre or similar critical environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, UPS, and generators.
Ability to work effectively in a shift-based role, providing 24/7 support.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Relevant qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).What's on offer:
