Are you looking for a position in which you keep things moving and deliver when it matters most? If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as a Security Officer on Immingham Dock.

About the role
This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of our port facility, its personnel, and its assets. You will be responsible for controlling access to our terminal, conducting routine checks, and maintaining a high level of ISPS security to DFDS Seaways and Logistics at all times.
You will be responsible for:
Working Monday - Sunday, 2 days and 2 nights with additional cover over the week for sickness/holidays
Usually 12 hours per shift but can be vary
Controlling access to Port Facility (including collaboration with ABP) as required
Perform routine checks including; speed checks, searching (persons, vehicles & cargo), fence line checks (perimeter and internal), trailer checks, gate-lock checks, substation checks, conveyor checks, ID checks, full terminal patrols
Monitoring of restricted areas to ensure only authorised persons have access
Security patrols are completed by foot and mobile.
Assist in emergency situations.
About you
You will need to have a minimum of 5 years Security/Police/Military experience, good written and verbal communication skills, IT literate, used to lone working and able to work on your own initiative.
To be considered, you must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
