CK Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Technician, to join a pharmaceutical company at their site based in Pirbright, on a permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of animal health pharmaceuticals.

Location:

This role is located at our client's site in Pirbright.

Mechanical Technician Role:

Your main duties will be:

Maintenance, fault finding and repair on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems across facilities, utilities, production and R&D laboratories.
Installation, testing and commissioning of equipment.
To ensure adherence to all EHS, biosafety and GMP regulations.
Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Completed an apprenticeship in maintenance engineering (equivalent experience or education can be considered).
Prior experience in a maintenance role within GMP regulated manufacturing (pharma, food, life sciences. Hospital or NHS experience would also be considered).
Excellent mechanical fault finding, maintenance and installation experience.
Experience working on chiller plants, centrifugal pumps and chilled water systems would be highly beneficial in this role.
