Summary
We are delighted to be working on behalf of a recognised innovator in the field of manufacturing and engineering, specialising in the design, development, testing and manufacture of integrated protective systems.
The Role:
Part of the engineering team, assisting with technical documentation like Bills of Materials (BOMs), Change Requests, and technical drawings.
Responsible for managing, controlling, and releasing documents using internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support design/engineering teams with documentation management.
* Manage engineering BOMs using MRP systems, collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Value teams.
* Ensure efficient document control processes, maintain documents, and prepare progress reports.
* Assist in tendering tasks and submissions.
* Handle general administration duties and purchase orders.
Education:
* GCSE English & Maths grade 5/C or equivalent preferred.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Understanding of document control in regulated environments.
* Strong communication, organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of SAGE X3 MRP.
* Prior experience as a document controller/coordinator.
