Requirement: Document Controller (EPC)
Location: Cheshire
Salary: £37000 (DOE) + Benefits + hybrid working
You'll be at the forefront of managing and organising data across various platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility. Able to manage Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to administrator level, ensuring documents are managed through the required workflows, controlling document production, approval, circulation and storage within agreed service levels.
Your role will be to maintain, update and issue all controlled documents, ensuring confidentiality in and around sensitive information and terms of agreement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll gather and input data while implementing protocols for efficient data entry and storage.
Key Responsibilities
Manages Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) to administrator level, ensuring documents are managed through the required workflows
Control of receipt and transmittal of certification and technical manuals
Production of fully linked and searchable electronic Databooks as per client’s structure and requirements.
Create and maintain a document register for each project
Update project information with modifications.
Create up to date (and back-up) information sources, for instance. for safety systems, in the installed base.
Compose electronic directory structures.
Set up due dates for document review cycles.
Expedite overdue documents.
Verify documents offered for processing on compliance with applicable document quality standards.
Promote and maintain procedures to keep project files, for instance safety system files, up to date for both technical and commercial
information.
Responsible for the receipt, registration (via an in-house database) and revision control of all client and vendor design verification documents and drawings, issuing them for action or information and monitoring return of reviewed documents.
About You
Experience of Electronic document management systems on major EPC or Automation projects.
Experience of Databook coordination and compilation.
Ability to multitask, working on multiple projects at the same time.
Proficient in Office 365 Suite of Applications.
Knowledge of ISO9001 or qualification advantageous
