Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who is electrically biased looking for a new role within the Food Manufacturing Industry? A leading manufacturing business based in the area of Swadlincote, Derbyshire are looking to grow their team. This role will be based within the companies factory in a small team of 13 engineers. Offering a salary of c£43k dependant on experience and to work 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts doing 6am - 6pm.

As a Maintenance Engineer, the role will involve but will not be limited to:
Working closely with the Engineering Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure safe, timely and effective completion of on-site reactive and PPM duties, liaising with the relevant departments to minimise downtime
Conducts fault finding, testing and the removal or adjustment of existing fittings fixtures and parts. Where a detailed specification is not provided, determines the cause of the fault and undertakes the most cost effective solution to remedy the defect
Carries out overhauls and repairs of plant and machinery including PLCs
Supporting maintenance shutdowns
Acting as a role model and lead by example demonstrating Core company values, behaviours, and high-performance standards at all timesWorking Hours:
6am to 6pm 4 on 4 off
Suitable Candidate:
Apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Previously worked within a Food or FMCG manufacturing environment before is highly desirable
Electrically biased
18th Edition is highly desirable Additional:
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
On-site canteen
