Semi-Skilled GSE & Parts Technician – Stansted - Advert

🏆 The Opportunity We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Semi-Skilled GSE & Parts Technician to join TCR UK Ltd, a global leader in Ground Support Equipment (GSE) solutions. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for mechanical engineering, keen to develop their skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. You’ll be involved in managing parts, supporting operations, and conducting minor repairs on GSE vehicles, with plenty of opportunities for growth.

📅 Working Hours • Monday to Friday, standard hours with some flexibility depending on operational needs.

🎬 Key Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for ensuring efficient parts and stock management, along with supporting the workshop team. Key duties will include:

* Materials and Equipment Issue: Deliver parts and equipment to technicians, providing quick, accurate service and maintaining proper records.

* Goods Inward: Check deliveries, manage stock intake, and organise the quarantine area. Handle supplier discrepancies and safely operate equipment such as forklifts (licence-dependent).

* Stock Control: Participate in stock counts, maintain traceability of materials, and ensure inventory systems are up to date.

In addition to parts management, you will also assist in the workshop with minor repairs, including fluid top-ups, battery maintenance, and customer fleet inspections. You may be involved in driving duties and driver checks, as well as ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

🕵 What We Are Looking For We are seeking a motivated and organised individual with:

* Experience in parts management, vehicle maintenance, or a similar field.

* Basic mechanical knowledge, ideally supported by a Level 1 City & Guilds, B-tech, or equivalent qualification.

* Strong communication, IT, and organisational skills.

* A full UK driving licence (forklift experience desirable).

You should have a proactive, hands-on approach and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
