A small but expanding manufacturing company are looking to recruit a Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to work alongside the MD. Duties:

Monitor the company operating processes to ensure compliance with the QHSE systems set out.
Oversea the QA and inspection activities
Prepare and maintain company procedures and work instructions
Maintain QHSE manuals and codes of practice (BSEN ISO9001:2015, ISO14000:2008 and ISO45001:2018)
Plan and conduct progress and management reviews
Schedule and conduct audits
Schedule and managed calibration systems
Monitor and analyse defects, concessions, in house repairs and customer returns analysing trends and take preventative action as required
Train and supervise personnel in QHSE matters What's required:

Must have Quality Assurance/QMS experience gained within and engineering/manufacturing environment
Engineering qualifications would be preferable but not essential
H&S experience preferred
Materials experience would be ideal
Candidates will need to reside within a commutable distance of Braintree What's on offer:

Salary circa £35,000 depending on experience
Hours 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday finishing 1.30pm on Friday
20 days holiday plus bank holidays (3 days used for Christmas shutdown)
