Job Title: Production Packing Operatives - Aluminium
Location: East Harling NR16
Days of work: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:15, with opportunities for overtime during busy periods
Rate of pay: Starting rate is £11.90 for standard hours. This increases to £12.50 for standard hours

Major Recruitment is looking for Production Packing Operatives in East Harling.

Responsibilities & Duties:

The collating, picking, packing and labelling of customer orders based on packing sheets.
Packing items for stock as requested.
Picking and packing of aluminium to send for powder coating.
Reporting of any quality issues to a senior team member.
Cleaning your workstation at the end of each shift.
Collaborating with the team to conduct quarterly stock checks accurately and on time.
Loading and unloading deliveries,
Performing general warehouse duties.
Assisting in other departments as needed.
Complying with company risk assessments and following all Health and Safety regulations.Personal Competencies:

Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
Capability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure maximum productivity
Previous packing experience is preferred
Comfortable working to targets and deadlines
Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks
Basic IT knowledge, as you'll be required to print off labels and complete internal training
Own transport is required due to rural location
Ideally, a full UK driving license for occasional collections and deliveries
Eagerness to learn, develop and contribute to the company objectives by undertaking additional tasks
Physically fit as this role involves heavy lifting
