Primary Cover Supervisor in Leighton Buzzard

Tick Education is seeking a motivated and experienced Primary Cover Supervisor to work in a variety of primary schools in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have experience teaching or tutoring Key Stage 1 or 2 pupils and be able to work on a daily or long-term basis.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver pre-planned lessons to primary school pupils in the absence of the regular teacher

- Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring that students are engaged and focused on learning

- Support pupils with their learning and provide feedback on their progress

- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel valued and supported

- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality education and care for all pupils

Requirements:

- A degree certificate is desirable but not essential

- At least 3 months of experience teaching or tutoring Key Stage 1 or 2 pupils

- Proactive and confident in managing a classroom of primary school pupils

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to work in different schools and adapt to different teaching styles

- A DBS check is essential
