Technical Project Manager
We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager for a fantastic local engineering company based in Southampton.
Job Description
A the Technical Project Manager, you will be a key leader in the development and design processes using specialist manufacturing technology and systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Project lead new 3 year project
* Lead development and design
* Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
* Over time this role will evolve and you will be leading a small team of engineers
Ideal Skills and Experience
* 5-10 years experience in a relatable technical engineering role
* Materials / carbon fibre experience
* Design background, ideally Solidworks experience
* FEA systems experience, ideally Hyperworks
* Team leading experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong problem solving and solution providing skills
* Test Analyst / Design background advantageous
Desired Qualifications:
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or similar.
Salary / Hours / Benefits
* £45K - £55K
* 40 hours per week – flexible on start and finish times
* Company Pension
