We’re looking for a Yard Operative with a valid Fork Lift Truck license who will take pride in their work and ensure smooth and efficient yard operations. Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 7:00am-3:30pm. This role is based outdoors in our purchasing yard.

Role Responsibilities

To check deliveries and move products between departments ensuring the factory have the right amount of stock in the right place at the right time.
Working outside in a busy yard environment loading and unloading lorries.
To move goods packed on stillage’s, pallets, or crates around the yard facility.
To stack goods in the correct location bays.
Any other duties as required.
Person Attributes

An in-date Combi Lift and counterbalance license is essential.
Excellent attention to detail with great organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues, managers, and customers.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player who can work on own initiative with a can-do attitude with effective time management.
Strong Health and Safety knowledge.
A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.
