Quality Technician
C.£28k - £30k DOE + BENS + BONUS + PROGRESSION
Sandwich, Kent – 5 days on site
8am – 4.45pm

DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN QUALITY INSPECTION?
ARE YOU LOOKING TO PROGRESS YOUR CAREER WITHIN QUALITY/PROCESS ENGINEERING?
As a Quality Technician for a forward-thinking precision Engineering business, you will assist and support the quality team through the inspection and testing of materials, components and finished products with a focus on consistent continuous improvement
This role is ideal for an Engineering professional with some experience working in a Quality role, looking for further experience within a company where growth and career development can be facilitated
Duties include:
Perform quality inspection and fault identification to support the introduction of new products.
Investigate quality issues to implement new procedures.
Ensure equipment is calibrated according to production schedule.
Support quality engineers with new product introduction and continuous improvement activities during busy periods.
Any other duties required.
The successful Quality Technician will have:
Experience working within a Quality related role within Engineering
Ideally some knowledge of precision engineering processes
The knowledge to interpret engineering drawings to confirm inaccuracies.
Previous experience inspecting parts using measuring equipment, e.g. micrometres, calipers, gauges etc.
Previously been involved in an audit
An energetic, positive approach to work with the desire to progress long term
Working within an incredibly busy team, you will have the opportunity to significantly up-skill and progress long term.
