Maintenance Engineer
C&N Recruitment are currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer for a 4* grade 2 listed hotel based just outside of Milton Keynes. This is a stunning location to work, the hotel boasts various restaurants, spa, holds conferences and weddings. Stunning location.
The Role:
* Carry out day to day repairs within the hotel.
* Run and record schedules as a part of the maintenance team.
* Complete small projects work and make reactive repairs to keep hotel running smoothly.
* General painting and decorating around the hotel.
* Respond to engineering and maintenance concerns.
* Respond to all building related issues.
* Deal with guest related concerns.
* Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard taking full responsibility for all worked carried out.
* Laise with relevant departments involved in works.
* Keep all disturbances to guest to a minimum.
* Report any issues to the Head of Department.
* This position does include weekend work (two Saturdays or Sundays per month) Working two days at the weekend over a month.
Person specification
* Experience of working in a hotel environment
* Plumbing experience
* Electrical experience
* Aware of health and safety
* Flexible.
* Team player.
* Calm and self-motivated.
