This role involves ensuring high-quality electroplating work, maintaining safety standards, and adhering to production schedules.
* Hourly Rate: Competitive
* Location: Sutton Coldfield
* Benefits: Comprehensive training and development opportunities, competitive pay, early Friday finishes and a permanent contract.
* Working Hours: Shifts – AM/PM rotating weekly.
The Role:
As an Electroplating Operative, you will be responsible for:
* Producing accurate, high-quality work efficiently
* Conducting quality checks using an x-ray machine
* Operating and programming furnaces to meet schedules while maintaining quality standards
* Loading and unloading furnaces (FLT Counterbalance required)
* Managing Pero Washing and Tin Plating processes
* Measuring scrap levels
* Adhering to schedules as instructed by the Coordinator
* Maintaining a neat and tidy working area to support Health and Safety procedures
The Candidate:
The ideal Electroplating Operative will have:
* Good GCSE / A level (grade A-C)
* FLT Licence - Counterbalance
* 1+ years’ experience in a factory setting, specifically in electroplating and operating Auto & Semi Auto Machinery
* Candidates must have their own transport.
