Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage all electrical aspects of solar project installations.
* Ensure that the team follows electrical design plans, safety standards, and project specifications.
* Lead daily meetings with site staff to discuss progress and address any challenges.
* Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and subcontractors to ensure efficient site operations.
* Manage and document all electrical work, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety codes.
* Monitor electrical testing, system commissioning, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation.
* Report to the project manager regarding site progress, electrical work timelines, and potential risks.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager in solar or large-scale electrical projects.
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including DC/AC power systems, inverters, and solar technologies.
* Ability to lead and manage a team of electricians and subcontractors.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure electrical tasks are performed efficiently.
* Experience in project management, safety protocols, and adherence to electrical standards.
* Strong communication skills to coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Previous experience as an Electrical Site Manager in renewable energy, particularly in solar projects.
* Electrical certification and familiarity with national and local electrical codes.
* A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
