We are working on behalf of a leading social housing contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services to tenants across Hastings . Due to continued growth, we are looking for skilled and experienced Multi Traders to join their team and contribute to maintaining and improving homes for residents.

Job Overview:
As a Multi Trader, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of repair and maintenance tasks within occupied and void social housing properties. You will deliver a high standard of workmanship across multiple trades, including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and decorating, ensuring that homes are safe, well-maintained, and comfortable for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general maintenance and repairs across a range of trades, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decorating.
Perform responsive repairs in both occupied and void properties to ensure minimal disruption to tenants.
Complete scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks to a high standard, ensuring jobs are finished on time and within budget.
Diagnose issues, identify materials needed, and complete works efficiently while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Liaise with tenants, site supervisors, and housing officers to ensure clear communication and excellent customer service.
Ensure all work is carried out to company standards and meet regulatory requirements.
Complete necessary paperwork and update the team on progress using company systems.Skills & Experience Required:

Proven experience as a Multi Trader or similar role in a social housing or maintenance environment.
Competent across multiple trades such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting/decorating.
Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and colleagues.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
A full, UK driving license is essential.Benefits:
