M3 MEP, LLC is seeking experienced Electrical Foreman for commercial and industrial projects. The Foreman will supervise and work with a crew of skilled and unskilled personnel engaged in electrical related tasks. Applicants must have commercial and industrial experience, be currently certified by the State of California Department of Industrial Relations, and have experience running crews between 5-10 people.

Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70e Code

Read and understand all contract documents, including Mark III scopes, specifications, and plans.

Delegate tasks to crew members.

Communication with the General Contractor (GC), clients, and other trades

Create 3-week look aheads schedules

Order material and understand work break down schedule

Ensure labor hours are met or beaten.

Ability to Track production

Enter job site time into About Time software

Work with Project Engineer (PE) and Project Manager (PM) to document changes in scope of work

Safety responsibilities

Maintain safety responsibilities, including conducting weekly tailgate meetings, jobsite inspections, Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), Method of Procedures (MOP), Injury and Illness Prevention Programs (IIPP), Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and heat illness prevention.

RFI's, Submittals, Change Orders and Daily's

Value Engineering

Identify and recruit talent

mentor apprentices and journeyman

Isometric Plan Drawing

Requirements

Must have an active Journeyman Certification in the State of California

Include certification number when applying

Excellent knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70e

Experience working in a commercial or industrial setting.

Electrical skills including but not limited to; plan reading, layout, various conduit bending and install, pull box install/wire puling and ability to follow directions.

Experience leading, overseeing and directing crews.

Good verbal communication and organizational skills

Must have reliable transportation

Must be willing to travel

Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam)

Valid California driver's license and clean driving record for past 5 years

OSHPD/HCAI is a Plus

Constantly hear normal speaking levels and distinguish sounds to avoid hazards.

Have visual acuity for accuracy and thoroughness in work.
