We're seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager with a broad range of experience including power electronics, low and medium power electronics, distribution as well as micro electronics and circuit board design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in electrical system design and analysis, including power electronics and energy storage systems.
Requirements
U.S. citizens only
Bachelors or an advanced degree in a related engineering discipline
10+ years professional experience
At least 2 years of experience managing engineers
Ability to contribute as an IC in respect to power electronics, microelectronics or a combination of the two.
Experience with motors or generators
Understanding of both AC and DC electrical systems
PV power generation experience is a plus
Ability to specify electrical system components including cables and connectors
Responsibilities
Manage the electrical team
Manage electrical vendors
Lead the development of multiple scales of generators and electronics
Program Reporting
Manage multiple programs
