A community health center in Sioux City, Iowa, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive their financial strategy and lead their dedicated finance team. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, including the Controller, Financial Manager, and Revenue Cycle Manager, to achieve the organization’s financial goals.

Oversee all financial activities, including planning, budgeting, strategizing, and forecasting, to ensure sustainable growth.

Manage audits, financial reporting, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with the CEO, Finance Committee, Board of Directors, external auditors, and payor sources.

Drive financial excellence through expertise in cost accounting, performance management systems, and third-party payor interactions.

Requirements

What They're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.

Extensive experience in financial leadership within a healthcare setting.

Advanced knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and managing state, federal, and third-party payor relationships.

Strong computer skills, including advanced data entry capabilities.
