Role Description
This is an on-site role for an Assistant Retail Manager. The Assistant Retail Manager will be responsible for managing the sales team, ensuring customer satisfaction, merchandising, and overseeing day-to-day operations. The Assistant Manager will also be required to perform sales and customer service duties, manage inventory, and assist the Manager in achieving sales targets and goals. Day to day duties may include assisting in an equipment pick-up/delivery, unload/stock shipments, organize sales floor/storage and, as business needs arise, other tasks as needed.
Requirements
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner
At least 1 year experience in retail or customer service
Experience in team management and supervision
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Experience in the sporting goods industry, buying and consignment is a plus
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Must have a valid divers license
Must have reliable transportation
Able to work flexible shifts – including day, nights, weekend, and some holidays.

Hours and Pay
Operational Hours: Monday - Friday 10 AM - 8 PM, Saturday 10 AM - 6 PM, Sunday 12 PM - 5 PM.
Closed Major Holidays (New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
Schedule will include at least one weekend day shift per week and provide one weekday off per week.
Competitive hourly rate at 30-40 hours weekly, with option for raise and/or promotion.
Daily work schedule will vary depending on needs of business and time of year.
Pay: Starting pay $16 - $18/hour depending on experience
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
